Dungeons are dangerous locations where players can find ores to mine and enemies to fight.
Light[]
Dungeons are very dark and it can be difficult to see when exploring. Their are multiple sources of light that can help the player:
- A player should always have a torch in a cave
- Lamp posts can be lit for one coal
- Braziers can be lit for five coal. These heal the player quickly when next to them
- Mushrooms give off a small amount of light
Monsters[]
Dungeons are dangerous places where you will encounter plenty of voidlings. Spawners will keep creating new monsters until they are destroyed.
Loot[]
There are many crates and barrels within that can be destroyed. Here you can find gold and salvaged metal. Throughout dungeons you can also find mushrooms glowing in the darkness. These can be eaten to regain a small amount of health.
Notes[]
- Players cannot build in dungeons
- Falling into the darkness does not instantly kill the player, but does a high amount of damage
- Light braziers for quick healing
Completion[]
When you manage to complete a dungeon, you are rewarded by opening a chest. There you will find gold and some gear. In some dungeons you will also find Lightstone in the chest.
Cursed Dungeons[]
Cursed Dungeons are a way for you to opt-in to a much harder dungeon crawling experience, with higher consequences for a higher reward.
Every dungeon in Len’s Island can become cursed. You can do this by completing the original dungeon and lighting the keystone at the end. Then once you leave the dungeon you will now be able to interact with the obelisk outside, fuel it with Dark Essence, and activate a cursed version of the dungeon. At the end of every Cursed Dungeon there will be a chest with rare armour and stacks of gold.
Cursed Dungeons are a fair bit harder and unforgiving than normal dungeons. Features include:
- Elite enemies
- Limited visability
- More hazards like traps, boulders sometimes falling from ceiling
- No healing braziers
Notes[]
- Cursed Dungeons will reset and uncurse themselves so you are able to retrieve your backpack in a safer environment. However if you want to attempt the Cursed Dungeon again, you will have to activate the obelisk with dark essence for a second time.
