Limestone is a resource used for building and crafting. It can be harvested by mining limestone nodes common found throughout the forest on the Player Island and around the shoreline. A pickaxe is most suitable for mining although a hammer could do in a pinch. Unlike stone, it has a green tint and is has more flat, angular surfaces. Like clay, it can only be found near water.
The player should equip a pickaxe and swing it at the limestone node (default button is right-click) to deal damage to it. When swinging the pickaxe, a circular glow will appear after each swing. If the player swings the pickaxe at the right moment the circle appears, the next swing will be a critical, dealing double damage.
Once the node is mined, the clearing remains and another limestone node will respawn after a few days, making limestone a renewable resource.
