Villagers are friendly non-playable characters that provide services to the player. They can be found in four Towns on four of the biggest Islands on the map. All the villagers either sell Armor, Tools, Weapons, Decorations or trade Crops and Resources.

Jared the Blacksmith[]
Jared the Blacksmith can be found in Bridgewater Town. He trades important Leather Armor and Resources that can greatly benefit the player at the start of the game. Jared sells a Leather Gambeson and a Iron Shield at the start, once these two items are purchased, a Leather Helm, Leather Bracers, Leather Greaves, and a Hardened Steel Claymore.
Tip: Return to Jared after purchasing all his armour as he will have new armour available on the the following day.

Lucky Jack gives the player map markers that show where all three Outposts can be discovered. You can also play Blackjack with him to win some more coins and he sells a small amount of Decorations as well as trades Sapphires

The seeds he sells are high-tier fruits that give players a good boost of health and hunger. Centaine the Sorcerer can be found in Shavar Town. She sells the Sorcerer Armor, can reset skill points, and can retrieve your backpack if it was dropped at death. Being able to retrieve your backpack from a villager can be a big time saver as if you died in a Dungeon, you don't need to enter it again to retrieve all your items.
