Weapons

Weapons are used in combat during Harvest Moons, Dungeon crawling and even hunting animals. They can be upgraded in the Anvil which increases their damage and unlocks rune slots for enchanting. Each weapon has two special attack types actioned by clicking E or R on the keyboard. While they can damage trees, rocks and ore, they do less damage.

Type

• Sword - Initial starting weapon. Has a decent fast attack, upgrading it unlocks a "Sweeping Slash" which can strike multiple targets and a "Multi-slash" attack.
• Hammer - Aquired in the first Dungeon. Deals heavy damage but very slow attack speed.
• Claymore - Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith in Bridgewater Town has a slower attack speed than the Sword but deals slightly more damage.
• Spear - Acquired in the 2nd Dungeon halfway (after defeating the Fire Troll). Has a long reach which is ideal for fighting certain mobs and capable of damaging multiple targets at once. Has two special attacks, a "Long Sweeping Slash" and a "Jousting" Charge attack
• Special Weapons - Weapons that can be either purchased or claimed by completing quests. These weapons hold special abilities and can deal high damage.
• Shield - A shield can be used to defend yourself and can also deal damage from a special attack. The shield can not be used at the same time as a torch unless it is used with a backpack torch.
